PLEASE NOTE: If you want to keep it private PLEASE DO NOT POST, SHARE or UPLOAD IT! Anything you post or upload can and may be copied, distributed and shared anywhere with anyone!
Registered members can choose what personal profile information to share or keep private by using the new privacy settings easily accessed from the profile menu.
DO NOT ASK for personal identifiable information; such as passport and driving license details, real names, postal address, email address, phone numbers, financial and bank account or debt/credit card details.
Your account will be banned permanently and your posts/comments will be deleted.
1. No Spam / Advertising / Self-promoting
We define spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other websites, or posts/comments with little, or completely unrelated content. Do not spam with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website, business, blog, forum, twitter or facebook, etc.. Spamming also includes sending private messages to a large number of different users.
2. Do not post copyright-infringing material
Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden.
3. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images
Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted. This includes user pictures. Use common sense while posting. The policy goes that if you would not feel comfortable viewing it at work, or in front of children or parents, don't post it !
4. Do not cross post comments or questions
Please refrain from posting/commenting the same thing more than once.
5. Do not PM users asking for help
Do not send private messages to any users asking for help. If you need help, make a new topic in the forum then the whole community can help and benefit.
6. Remain respectful of other members at all times
All posts/comments should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective. However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. It does not matter what title or power you hold on this site, you are expected to obey this rule.
7. The site language is English only! Please do not post or comment in any other languages.
8. The use of text in all CAPITALS may be considered as shouting and is not necessary. However if you wish to emphasise certain parts of a post or comment you are free to do so at desecration.
9. Using red or highlighted text is forbidden. Only moderators and administrators may use this feature.
10. Insulting and flaming or personal attacks against anyone will not be tolerated.
11. We do not allow the use of abbreviations of any kind.
12. These rules apply to all activity across the entire Terry Webbs site.
13. The moderators and admin decision is final and no discussion will be entered into.
General Questions
Am I allowed more than one account?
No, there is no reason why you should have more than one account. If you are banned, please do not create a new account. If you continue to create new accounts after you have been banned, your IP address will be blocked from access to this site.
What happens if I break the rules?
If you break a rule, then you will either be warned or banned. A ban of your user account may either be temporary or permanent.
The administrators and moderators also have the right to edit, delete, move or close any topic or post as they see necessary, without prior warning.
What happens if I see a topic/post or comment which has broken a rule?
Please report the topic/post/comment to the moderators or admin.
Becoming a troll
Anyone trolling this site will have their profile status marked as TROLL until such time they have earned the respect to return to a normal member again. Your posts and comments will be removed and certain privileges will be removed at the discretion of the moderators and admin. You must prove you can behave as a normal member before your profile and privileges are returned to normal. Creating another account will only have you banned and your IP address blocked.
We do not encourage trolling what so ever, please be aware those that are actively trolling will guarantee troll status.
Troll Policy
In Order To Attain Troll Status You Must be:
- a regular troller.
- have a negative troll presence on the site.
- troll-active.
- disrespectful and unhelpful towards other members.
- actively trolling discussions as often as possible, setting a bad example to the other members.
- take an active part in trolling discussions between Moderators relating to the running of the site.
- trolling unsuitable content out of the site as much as possible.
Becoming a moderator
All moderator applicants must be a member for at least 90 days (3 months) and have at least 100 posts.
You must be active on the site and regularly create and respond to topics in the forum.
Please be aware that applying to be a moderator does not guarantee acceptance and that moderators will only be appointed when needed.
Current moderators and administrators will review applications and decide if the applicant fits the desired post. Administrators have the final say and we reserve to right to refuse applicants with or without cause.
Moderator Policy
In Order To Apply To Be A Moderator Status You Must be:
- a regular poster.
- have been registered at the site for over 3 months.
- have a positive presence on the site.
- proactive.
- knowledgeable.
- polite and helpful towards other members and give advice whenever needed and whenever possible.
- visit the forum each day, actively take part in discussions as often as possible, ideally once a day, setting a good example to the other members.
- take an active part in discussions between Moderators relating to the running of the site.
- help to keep unsuitable content out of the site as much as possible.
Use of the website
You shall not use the Website for, or send to the Website, anything which, in any way:
- is not in our best interests;
- involves your use of any viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful or is intended to damage or interfere with the Website or any other system or information;
- is infringing of any intellectual property rights or rights of privacy or confidentiality of us or any third party;
- is fraudulent, criminal or not lawful, or which is in breach of any applicable law, statute, regulation or bye-law;
- is misrepresentative or impersonates another person or organisation;
- is defamatory, racist, sexist, defamatory, discriminatory, offensive, threatening, hateful, pornographic, indecent, obscene, malicious, abusive, political or untrue;
- is not accurate or outdated; or
- is contrary to these Terms of Use or the Privacy and Cookies Policy.
